ICTC Receives Generous Grants

The Inner-City Teaching Corps is pleased to announce that it has received two generous grants to support ICTC program growth:


$50,000 from the Searle Funds at The Chicago Community Trust.  The grant will support the development of a high school mathematics readiness network of schools on the west-side of Chicago sharing best practices in higher order management and presentation of mathematics curricula focused on middle school readiness for high school.

$75,000 from Chase to provide professional development in schools around Austin, Lawndale, Little Village, Pilsen, and in East and West Garfield Park.
“Education is key to helping young people succeed in life and work.  That’s why we’re proud to support the ICTC’s efforts to improve the educational opportunities for Chicago’s students,” said Beverly Meek, Illinois community relations officer for Chase.
