ICTC Associate Board
Founded in 2008, the Inner-City Teaching Corps (ICTC) Associate Board is a group of young professionals who support the work of ICTC to empower children in underserved communities through education.
Associate Board Activities include:
- Two annual fundraisers that raise awareness and support the work of Inner City Teaching Corps' schools, teachers and principals;
- A quarterly newsletter;
- Providing volunteer services to ICTC schools; and
- Serving as ambassadors for Inner-City Teaching Corps.
Past fundraisers have been held at Rockit Bar & Grill and Devon's Seafood Grill. Our most recent service project was at the Gary Comer San Miguel School in the Austin neighborhood. Associate Board members worked with approximately 20 children ages 10-14 making spoon holders as gifts for their parents. The activity provided an opportunity for a cultural exchange and allowed Associate Board members to learn more about the children and the schools we serve.
